Laura Moxley, SPHR is Founder and President of Your HR Resource, a Norman, Oklahoma-based employee benefits and human resource consulting company, specializing in Employee Relations, Anti-discrimination training, Employee Complaint Investigations, Policies & Procedures, Compliance, and Employee Health & Wellness Benefits.

Laura began her human resources career over 10 years ago while employed with a private corporation, working primarily with benefits negotiations and administration. After becoming HR Director in, her biggest challenge was to develop a Human Resources Department, which she successfully did from scratch. After developing and introducing hiring and firing training and procedures, she and her staff reduced the company’s turnover by 38% over the next 2 years. Her implementation of Anti-discrimination training and workplace investigations successfully reduced the company’s liability by over a million dollars in the first year alone. 

Laura earned her BA in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with honors. Later, she earned her Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Phoenix and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is also a Certified Employment Mediator and licensed Health & Life Insurance Broker.

Laura is a member of the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium, the Society for Human Resource Management, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, Oklahoma State Chamber, and Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma. She is a Charter Member of the Sooner Human Resource Society and is Director-Elect for the Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management where she has also served as HRCI Core Leader. Laura has clients in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and Arkansas.
